We can operate in adverse weather conditions, including temperatures as low as 4 degrees Fahrenheit and winds up to 40 mph, as well as rain. However, for safety and effectiveness, we require greater than 3 miles of visibility and must maintain a distance of 500 feet below any clouds. We also provide an external monitor for your viewing pleasure during the search, and all searches are screen recorded for review and delivered as a digital copy via a download link.

To initiate a search, please complete our Deer Search Questionnaire and Release Form. There is no obligation to any payment once this form is filled out. You can cancel the request anytime before we take flight. Completing the form allows our pilots to assess airspace, weather conditions, and the lay of the land to ensure a safe and legal flight. Our pilots are all Part 107 certified and insured, guaranteeing a professional and responsible service.

Permission to Access Property:

I have legal permission from the property owner to be on this land and grant permission to the thermal drone pilot from MOV Drone Workz to be present for the duration of the recovery.

Shot a Deer:

I affirm that I have shot a deer and believe it to be dead or mortally wounded. I understand that the service provided is for locating a deer carcass only and does not involve hunting or tracking any living deer.

Refraining from Hunting:

If the deer is found to be alive, I agree not to hunt or pursue any deer on the property until the following day. In the event of the deer being seriously wounded but not dead, I will contact my local game warden to plan the next steps.

Liability Release:

I release MOV Drone Workz, its employees, agents, representatives, and affiliates from any claims or liabilities that may arise from the services provided.

Terms & Conditions (required) The client understands and acknowledges that the search for downed deer is a service provided using drone technology and that results are not guaranteed. The client agrees to pay the agreed-upon fee for the service, which includes the initial search fee and any applicable mileage charges. The client releases MOV Drone Workz and its representatives from any liability related to the search, including but not limited to failure to locate the deer, property damage, or any other incidents that may occur during the service. The client agrees to comply with all local, state, and federal regulations related to drone usage. The client understands that the use of drones for downed deer recovery is not permitted in all areas and that MOV Drone Workz will only operate where legally allowed. The client acknowledges that they have provided accurate information regarding the location and circumstances of the downed deer to the best of their knowledge.
